Matthew Maitland

I'm Matthew, a data scientist at EY focused on classical machine learning. I have an M.Eng in Computer Science from Cornell Tech, and I apply quantitative methods to real-world problems—from a document-retrieval tool for private-equity due diligence to an alternative credit-scoring platform for underserved communities.

Before Cornell Tech, I interned at Cisco Systems and Barstool Sports, turning raw data into actionable insights with classical modeling and deep-learning pipelines. I earned my B.S. in Information Science at Cornell University, focusing on data science and NLP.

Beyond AI/ML, I coach a youth ski team in Stratton, VT, and rarely miss a Yankees, Rangers, or Packers game.
